I have lived with a severe dairy allergy for my whole life. By necessity of survival and to keep up with my sweet tooth, I have many years of experience adapting recipes to accommodate my allergies, while remaining delicious.
I realized that what came as second nature to me might be new to others. Combined with my perspective as a clinician and scientist, I am attempting to share my knowledge, experience, and passion for dairy-free cooking and baking with anyone who might benefit.
In this blog, you’ll find lots of inspiration for adapting recipes to be dairy free. I aim to provide honest, relatable, and hopefully informative feedback on whether and how you can adapt existing recipes to be free of dairy. Sometimes, I am also able to highlight and review recipes that are naturally dairy-free, to let you know if they are worth your while.
